Uknown Numbers of Ethiopian Muslims Killed by Abiy Ahmed`s Republican Guard in Addis Ababa Anwar Mosques

Latest Update: Harun Media is reporting casualties, including women, as a result of security forces firing "directly" at protesters at the Grand Anuwar Mosque in Addis Abeba

Muslims are protesting the demolishing of at least 19 Mosques by Oromia regional state in the newly established Shaggar city, formerly the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne.

The report also mentions unknown numbers of fatalities in Addis Abeba. The media also posted graphic pictures of bloodied worshipers.
There was not a single voice of protest when the firing started. When they started praying and making dua, the Republican Guard began to shoot at the worshipers. Many were shot.

Other protests are also happening by Muslims across various cities in Oromia including in Shashemene and Jimma cities. The protests are happening despite a statement yesterday by the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council calling on Ethiopian Muslims to not protest today after Friday prayers on accounts that the Council is engaged in discussions with federal authorities.

Today in Addis Ababa; "Anwar Masjid" has been damaged by security forces after the end of Friday prayer, people in the area have pointed out. He called for the help of the injured people. It is said that the emergency call to prayer was heard in the mosque. At the same time, Ustaaz Abu Bakr Ahmed; "It is an inhumane act to use violence against the innocent Muslim people who came out of their houses to pray the Friday prayers at the Great Anwar Mosque and are in the mosque without mercy," he said. "I urge the security forces to stop the violent action being taken against the innocent people who went out to pray empty-handed," said Ustaz Abu Bakr, "You should open the way for the ambulance to enter the place so that our brothers who are sheltering in the mosque and who have been mercilessly shot and fallen in and around the mosque can be taken to the medical center immediately." They called. If there is any information/explanation provided by the Supreme Council of Ethiopian Islamic Affairs and the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of Ethiopia, we will follow up and inform you about the current situation of Anwar Mosque. Similarly, if there is an explanation from the government/city administration, we will follow up and provide it. It is not to be forgotten that people lost their lives last week when a call was made to immediately stop the demolition of mosques in Sheger city.
