The lives of two-year-old and three-year-old children named Christian Melagu and Evangelia Melagu were killed by a perpetrator who was employed as a domestic worker. Addis Ababa Police Commission M/Commander Markos Tadese told Ethio FM that the perpetrator has been arrested. It is said to be due to a conflict with her employers.

"Give us urgent justice!" People living in the area expressed their anger. Commander Markos urged the police to find out more information about how the children's lives were spent by the perpetrator and other information and to keep the society calm.

 The two children who were killed are two and three years old, a boy and a girl, brother and sister. Addis Ababa Police Commission Public Relations Director Deputy Commander Markos Tadese told that the domestic worker suspected of this "very sad and horrible" crime is a 19-year-old young woman. After the murder of two children, the suspected domestic worker was arrested after she confessed to the crime and surrendered to the police, the public relations officer of the Addis Ababa Police Commission told.

 Commander Markos, the crime happened today, Thursday, August 26/2014. He explained that it was from 3:30 to 4 in the morning; He said there are speculations that the suspect woke up the children and killed them in a gruesome manner using a knife.
